Marketing Director BlockChat
Role Overview
As Marketing Director, I will:
Own and execute BlockChat’s global marketing strategy, including digital campaigns, SEO, SEM, PR, content, and paid social.
Plan, deliver, and optimise user acquisition funnels, from Awareness → Conversion → Activation → Retention.
Execute on-boarding activations, e.g., community launches, AMA sessions, accelerator cohorts, driving platform adoption.
Lead BlockChat’s representation and booth presence at major global and local blockchain events including full strategy, branding, staffing, logistics, and live presentation.
Direct execution of BlockChat’s presence at high-profile events (e.g., Australian Crypto Convention 2025), delivering a fully immersive booth experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Marketing & Growth
Develop ROI-driven digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, X, LinkedIn, crypto-native channels).
Strategise and optimize SEO, SEM, and content to drive organic growth and community engagement.
Utilise analytics tools to monitor performance, A/B test, and iterate.
2. Community Activations & Onboarding
Conceptualize and deliver activations like weekly AMAs, BlockSpace launches, and our Accelerator Program.
Manage end-to-end community on-boarding, ensuring participants reach engagement and retention goals.
Collaborate with product, design, and community teams on content, tutorials, and engagement strategies.
3. Event & Convention Strategy
Own live event strategy from pre-event outreach to on-site booth experience and post-event follow-up.
Key upcoming event: Australian Crypto Convention 2025 (Nov 22–23, ICC Sydney
Design a signature BlockChat booth including demos, speaking slots, giveaways.
Orchestrate end-to-end logistics: design, staffing, travel, collateral, hospitality, brand activations, on-site performance tracking.
Roll this model out globally at major events (Consensus, ETHGlobal, Web3Summit, etc.), aligned with investor and partner activations.
4. Brand & Content Development
Define brand guidelines and messaging across digital, event, and community touchpoints.
Drive thought leadership through blog posts, email campaigns, whitepapers, podcasts, speaking engagements.
Align with founders and partners to leverage co-marketing and amplify reach.
5. Reporting & Investor Enablement
Create monthly metrics dashboards (CAC, LTV, ROI, MQLs, engagement).
Communicate campaign performance to founders, board, and partners.
Develop quarterly investor-facing marketing decks showcasing growth, pipeline, and ROI.
